Checking Access

As part of the delivery process, our logistics team will plan in for delivery requirements and access to the address where the drop will be made.

When we do, your order will already have been allocated a provisional delivery. You will then get a customer service email with a specific delivery date for you to confirm.

Access - To The Address

With this in mind we need you to advise us without delay if there are any access restrictions to your property such as narrow bridges, narrow lanes, or weight restrictions etc. You should also advise us if you live in an area with parking/stopping restrictions. If the delivery lorry is unable to reach your property or pull-up outside, we can arrange for the components to be left at the nearest accessible place if you can indicate where it can be.

The delivery will be made by one of four types of vehicle: a flatbed transit, a 7.5 ton flatbed lorry, an 18 ton Hiab or a 26 ton articulated side loading lorry. All vehicles should be able to deliver on standard urban roads – the bigger ones are roughly equivalent to the size of a large refuse collection lorry - provided there are no obstacles or tight turns.

Tiger Delivery Vehicles

The larger vehicles are usually for delivering log cabins or selected TigerFlex® buildings. If your vehicle needs to change, there may be an additional delay to the advised delivery date.

Should a further delivery be required due to a failed delivery following a lack of access, additional charges may be applicable.

Access - At The Address

Please be aware that our sheds and log cabins come flat-packed and are delivered kerbside only. Unfortunately, our drivers will not be able to assist with movement of any parts through your property.

You should be present at the time of delivery to provide access and to sign for the consignment.

You do not have to present at the time of delivery if there is a suitable location near the property entrance for the components to be left on your property, but this should be discussed with the delivery team before you confirm your delivery booking. If you are not going to be on-site to accept delivery you must notify us by email at least 3 working days in advance. Without this instruction, the driver might not complete the delivery and you may be liable for a redelivery charge.

Please note that the parts delivered will vary in size (depending on the size and type of building ordered), so if you need to carry these through your property or if access is restricted, you may wish to contact our staff to confirm specific component sizes for your order to plan for this. The largest size of shed panel we deliver is 10ft.while log cabin components can be up to 20ft in length.

If you have any further information about delivery access, please email logistics@tigersheds.com or call 0113 205 4189 (lines open Monday to Friday 9am-5pm).

Enjoy your Tiger garden building!
